I haven't done too much with turnips and had a ton of them from the December bag of winter veggies. Needless to say, they've been in the frig for a long time. Good thing they are sturdy. I tried 2 recipes:
Roasted Turnips with Parmesean was the first try...I used purple turnips and green turnips that seemed to have high water content. I wasn't sure they'd work out so well, but they were pretty good - a slight bitter aftertaste whereas the purple ones roasted up nicely.
Honey-Glazed Turnips came out beautifully yesterday. They are so good and had a full honey flavor. This recipe is definitely my preferred one.
