Family Day at the Arboretum

We went to the Arnold Arboretum this morning to stroll around and look at the flowers. The lilacs were in full bloom. You can see a good view of what they looked like on the main webpage. Yes, I forgot my camera. And, Shelagh was wearing purple and would have looked so cute surrounded by all the purple flowers. Oh well. It was a fun time until I spotted a snake. Ew. The kids, of course, thought it was cool and wanted to touch it. I, on the other hand, wanted to scream but kept myself together so they would continue not to be scared of them.
