Rory's Lego Party

Rory had a Lego birthday party Sunday.  There is a new place (not really close by) that hosts Lego parties and we jumped on it based on spotting it in the Boston Globe 100 Best New Places in the area.  If the guy that ran this place had any charisma whatsoever, this place would be a gold mine.  Alas, he does not but will probably make money in spite of himself.  I'm hoping this will spark his creativity building things without kits/directions.  The kits are a fortune and he rips through them regardless of the age range or # of pieces.

 Look how happy he was...

Hi Sena - Looks like FUN! My kids were always anti-kit. They never build what the directions say. They use the lego mats and create little pieces or houses...then they "sell"/"barter" with each other from their "stores". They use lego money and the mini lego pieces as coins. Strange set-up....but they managed to keep busy for a whole summer doing this with neighbors....my house had lego stores in every corner!!! Meanwhile I was wishing 'just build the damn thing on the box' ENJOY! Kara
