Okay, okay, I enjoyed this movie. But, I still hold that Sandra Bullock DID NOT deserve a best actress Oscar for this. She was good, but REALLY? Against Meryl Streep as Julia Child??? I didn't think Gabourey Sidibe should get it for Precious - that was an intense and well done movie, but not quite Best Acress material, in my opinion. I haven't seen An Education (it's on the list though) or The Last Station (Helen Mirren was nominated for this).
The movie was really inspirational, good sports story, a little hokey, but I liked Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw as the parents a lot. I didn't cry, miraculously. You have to love that it's a true story.
