Lazy Summer

For the 2nd summer in a row, we tried not to plan much of anything. I think we had friends over 1 time the whole summer. Other than our 1 week in Canada and a long weekend in NJ with family, we planned nothing else in advance. We spent most weekends enjoying family time at home, a few birthday parties, and at the pool with only 1 beach visit this year and not much park time either. I don't know where the summer went, but I'm relaxed and excited about Fall now.

I have to say I haven't cooked anything interesting lately either. It's been all go-to meals and lazy kids meals. I feel a new recipe frenzy coming up...
